Manos’s love for cooking started when he finished school and went on to culinary college, and it has grown from strength to strength. He now has 20 years’ experience in hospitality, as after graduating he initially worked in five- star restaurants, enhancing his skills and learning the ropes. After a few years he took the next step and decided to build his own catering company, which he and his family did in 2005. This proved very successful, and flourished for 8 years, but like so many other businesses, it had to close during the Greek crisis. Manos decided to look further afield and ventured into yachting in 2013. For the last 10 years he has travelled the world, cooking on both private and charter yachts ranging from 33m to 86m. His favourite cuisine is Mediterranean food, but he loves to mix it up with Asian influences. Being a Greek native, he loves to cook seafood and especially when he is in his home waters of the Aegean Sea! Manos relishes making delicious food and creating an all-time amazing culinary experience whilst you are onboard EMERALD and can’t wait to show you what he is made of.
