Jose has been developing his engineering skills since 2001, working on a range of vessels from coastguard ships and search and rescue boats to commercial vessels. Since 2018, he has been Chief Engineer on superyachts ranging from 32m to 50m in both the Caribbean and Mediterranean waters. Jose has a great work ethic and is always willing to lend a hand where needed. Safety is his watchword, and you will find he always goes that extra mile to ensure the smooth operation of Emerald and her systems. His infectious smile and ability to remain calm under any condition ensure he is seen as a real asset on board.
