Cameron brings a well-rounded skillset to his role as 2nd Engineer on board EMERALD, combining strong technical expertise with practical deck experience gained early in his career. Starting out in Deck/Engineer roles before progressing onto large yachts up to 85m, he developed a solid understanding of how all departments work together at sea. This hands-on foundation, alongside his RYA Yachtmaster qualification, gives him confidence in both mechanical and practical seamanship. Now firmly focused within the engineering department, Cameron plays a key role in ensuring EMERALD runs seamlessly behind the scenes. Energetic, sporty, and naturally proactive, he contributes to a positive onboard atmosphere while ensuring guests can simply relax, knowing the yacht is operating safely and efficiently at all times.
